October 2009: The Capacity Needs Assessment (CNA) results were generated and the narrative report was finalized. Meetings were held with partner Civil Society Organizations in three districts to share the CNA results and identify local Resource Persons. Representatives of CSOs, Stakeholders and Hum Qadam team members attended a meeting at AKF (P) Islamabad with Joanne Trotter, Director of Programs, AKF USA.
November 2009: A meeting was held with partners in one district to share the CNA results and identify local Resource Persons. Request For Proposals (RFPs) for two Training of Trainers (ToT) workshops were developed and sent to eight consultants for submission of proposals. Civil Society Resource Centre (CSRC) was requested to develop a TpT workshop module on “Leadership Skills”;.
December 2009: CSRC organized a 4-day ToT workshop on Leadership Skills in Karachi. The workshop was attended by 23 Resource Persons from seven districts and five AKF – P/CSRC staff. Proposals for two ToT workshops were received from five consultants; the proposals were evaluated and two consultants were selected.
