April 2009: Seven districts were finalized for Hum Qadam implementation. District Consultative Workshops, attended by 203 participants from 155 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), were held at Lahore, Badin and Karachi. Resource persons’ meetings, attended by 61 participants, were held in Lahore, Badin and Karachi.
May 2009: A District Consultative Workshop attended by 33 participants from 28 CSOs, was held in Gwadar. A Resource Persons’ meeting attended by 10 participants was also held in Gwadar.
June 2009: District Consultative Workshops, attended by 214 participants from 136 CSOs, were held in Ghanche, Chitral and Rawalpindi (in Murree tehsil). Resource persons meetings, attended by 71 participants, were also held in these districts. A two-day writing workshop for developing tools for Baseline and Capacity Need Assessment Surveys was held at Karachi. Two focus group discussions and three in-depth interviews were held at Lahore and Karachi for the baseline survey. Templates for databases of CSOs, resource persons and key stakeholders were produced and development of this database was initiated.
