July 2009: 10 focus group discussions and 15 in-depth interviews were held in five out of seven districts. The 10 focus group discussions included five sessions with short-listed partners and five sessions with other stakeholders. Three of the 15 in-depth interviews in each district were conducted with district community leaders (one with an eminent citizen, one with a government official and one with an elected representative).
August 2009: Capacity Need Assessment (CNA) tool was finalized and dispatched to 210 short-listed CSOs in seven districts.
September 2009: Results of the Baseline Survey were generated. The completed Capacity Need Assessment tool was also received from six of the seven districts.
